Jewels Jones

Jewels was born in St. Ann, Jamaica, and moved to Canada as a young child. His love of sports began as soon as he could walk and has remained a constant throughout his life. Growing up, he played soccer, baseball, hockey, and football before joining his high school basketball team while continuing to compete in club football.

His passion for sports naturally evolved into a career. Jewels worked in sporting goods retail, served as a sports camp counsellor, and coached youth teams at his local YMCA. His programs quickly became some of the most popular in the community, filling gyms after school and on weekends. Parents, athletes, and fellow coaches were drawn to his ability to inspire confidence, build skills, and create an environment where kids genuinely loved to train.

As his reputation grew, Jewels moved to New Jersey to coach high school basketball at a private school, where he helped develop numerous athletes who went on to compete at the NCAA level.

Following a serious car accident, Jewels was forced to step away from coaching while recovering from his injuries. Today, he is back doing what he loves most—coaching young athletes and helping people reach their full potential. He has become one of the most sought-after strength and conditioning coaches for hockey players across the Greater Toronto Area, working with athletes of all ages to improve their performance, confidence, and resilience.

Jewels has a remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He is especially passionate about mentoring young athletes and young adults, having witnessed firsthand how fitness and sport can transform confidence, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Whether he's working with an elite athlete or someone stepping into a gym for the first time, Jewels brings energy, encouragement, and a genuine commitment to helping every person become the best version of themselves.
